2）thattheirtriptotheU.S.isforalegitimatepurposeandtemporaryinnature.Theburdenisontheapplicanttosubstantiatethiscriterion.Whileadjudicatingofficersconsiderpriortravel,havingpriortravelisnotarequirementtoreceivingavisa.Therearemanyfirsttimeapplicantswhohavenopriorinternationaltravelwhosuccessfullysubstantiateatemporarylegitimatepurposeoftravelandsufficientlystrongtiestotheircountry.

回答：得到美国短期签证的一个首要条件是证明自己在中国有牢固的约束力。跟美国公民结婚并且配偶常年在美国居住将使申请人的约束力转移到美国。如果申请人虽然跟美国公民结婚，但其配偶随其在中国长住，那么申请人的约束力还在中国。很多在中国长住的中国公民跟外国人结婚了。他们通常证明自己在中国有其它方面的约束力，如工作，父母等。和美国公民结婚不会增加您获得短期签证的难度，但前提是您必须能够证明您在中国拥有牢固的约束力。您以前曾多次访问美国并按期返回中国将对您的申请有帮助。
